The role

A professional partner who manages every detail of the journey.

The international circuit is a demanding environment. To succeed, a player needs more than just a coach; they need a professional partner who manages every detail of the journey. Whether you are playing Tennis Europe, ITF Juniors, the ITF World Tennis Tour or the WTA, our travelling coach service provides the highest standards of coaching, safety and ethics. We bridge the gap between training and winning, ensuring that every week on the road is an opportunity for growth.

How it works

Six commitments on every trip

01

Professional & ethical guarantees

Your trust and security are our priority. Our services are backed by the highest professional standards:

  • Certified expertise: ITIA licensed coach.
  • Official background checks: full criminal record and honorability clearance by the French administration.
  • Full compliance: respect for all ITF and WTA regulations.
  • Professional protection: comprehensive professional liability insurance.
02

Total responsibility & safety (minors)

For players under 18, we provide a "total security" environment:

  • 24/7 supervision: we take 100% responsibility for the minor during the entire trip.
  • Family partnership: if parents travel with us, they resume authority outside of training and match hours.
  • Safety first: we act as the legal guardian on site, ensuring a safe and focused environment at all times.
03

The tournament cycle: prep & performance

We manage the "sporting DNA" of the week to maximise results:

  • Annual tournament planning: major goals, performance peaks, pre-season blocks, physical and technical refresher sessions, choice of surfaces and countries, fatigue and budget.
  • Pre-tournament: technical and tactical set-up based on the specific conditions.
  • Match day: professional warm-up and clear tactical briefing.
  • Observation: constant analysis during matches to identify winning margins.
  • The "calm" debrief: we avoid debriefing immediately after a match, to let emotions settle and ensure a productive analysis later.
04

Optimised training, fitness & gym network

We never waste time. If a player is eliminated early, the tournament becomes a high-intensity training camp.

  • Elite gym network: if the tournament club lacks facilities, we have access to professional gyms in 6 European countries to maintain physical intensity.
  • Time management: we optimise every hour of the trip to balance training, recovery and progression.
05

Digital discipline & focus

To win, a player must be present. We manage digital distractions:

  • The pre-match rule: no phone 20 to 30 minutes before the match, to control anxiety and maintain focus.
  • The post-match rule: no phone for 30 minutes after the match — a critical time for the coach to manage the player's adrenaline and emotions.
06

Mental load & family communication

Communication is key, but timing is everything:

  • The emotional buffer: we manage the high-adrenaline phase internally with the player.
  • Guidance for parents: listen to the player post-match but avoid reacting; redirect technical, tactical, mental and physical questions to the coach and staff.
  • Family time: after the initial one-hour cool-down, normal communication with family and friends is fully encouraged.
  • Player communication: players are encouraged to express how they feel — their joys, doubts and moods. It helps them progress and helps the staff support each personality.
Safeguarding. Our commitment to ethics and legal standards is as strong as it can be, and we are committed to combating and preventing all forms of player abuse. Families and players can contact the ITF or WTA for further information or in the event of any concerns: safeguarding@itftennis.com and safeguarding@wtatennis.com.

Summary

Success is not negotiated. It is built.

Travel, flights, pre-tournament and pre-match training sessions, and above all maximum assurance in terms of sporting standards, ethics and integrity. This is the environment we offer to families and players.

Communication is important, but timing is key. Understanding your role, your influence and your importance as parents, friends or partners contributes to the player's performance just as much as training and coaching. The commitment is total and requires a strong commitment from everyone involved — success is built through intelligence, patience, perseverance and teamwork.

Travelling coach — questions

What does a travelling tennis coach do?

A travelling tennis coach accompanies the player to international tournaments and manages practice, scouting, match plans, recovery, training load, logistics and communication with the family all week.

Who is responsible for a minor player during the trip?

For players under 18, the coach takes full responsibility 24/7 during the whole trip. If parents travel too, they resume authority outside training and match hours.

Which tournaments do you travel to?

Tennis Europe, ITF Junior (J30 to J500), ITF World Tennis Tour (W15 to W100) and WTA events, across Europe and worldwide.

Can two players share a travelling coach?

Yes, when their level and schedule are compatible — each player keeps an individual plan, and costs are shared.
