Tennis Europe coach for 12&U, 14&U and 16&U players

The first international seasons shape a player’s identity. We plan them with the long term in mind — game, body, travel and family — so the Tennis Europe Junior Tour becomes the foundation of a professional career.

The Tennis Europe Junior Tour

Three age groups, four levels of events.

Every age group has its own rules. Knowing them is the first step of a good calendar.

Category 1 · Category 212&UFrom the year the player turns 10 to the year they turn 12. A maximum of ten tournaments per calendar year, including ITF and regional events: every choice counts.
Super Category · Cat. 1 · Cat. 2 · Cat. 314&UFrom the year the player turns 11 to the year they turn 14. The age of the first big international events — Les Petits As, the Super Category tournaments and the first multi-week trips.
Super Category · Cat. 1 · Cat. 2 · Cat. 316&UFrom the year the player turns 13 to the year they turn 16. The bridge to the ITF Junior Tour (18&U) and to the first professional events.
Good to know. Every player needs an ITF Junior IPIN before entering, valid for both the Tennis Europe Junior Tour and the ITF junior tour. Entry deadline: Tuesday, 27 days before the tournament week (14:00 GMT). Withdrawal deadline: Tuesday, 13 days before. We manage all of it.

Why it matters

Build a player, not a ranking.

At 12, 14 or 16, the ranking is a tool, not the goal. The Tennis Europe years are where a player builds a game identity, learns to travel, to compete every day and to handle pressure far from home.

Our role is to use each tournament as a step in a long-term plan: the right level of event at the right time, enough matches to learn, and enough training weeks to progress. Families always know why a tournament is in the calendar — and why another one is not.

What a Tennis Europe coach does

Six priorities for young international players

01

A calendar that respects the rules

Categories, age limits, the ten-tournament rule in 12&U, entry and withdrawal deadlines, surfaces and budget — planned over the whole year, with performance peaks for the major events.

02

Game identity & technique

Clear technical priorities and a style of play that can grow up to the pro level. Every tournament gives us objective data to adjust the next training block.

03

A growing body

Growth spurts change everything. Regular screening with Kinvent force plates and load monitoring protect young players from overuse injuries while developing speed and power.

04

Safety on the road

Full 24/7 responsibility for minors during the trip, a certified coach with official background checks, and complete respect of Tennis Europe, ITF and safeguarding rules.

05

Competing and learning

Match plans adapted to the age, calm debriefs, and the habits of a professional: warm-up, recovery, sleep, nutrition and no phone before or right after matches.

06

Parents as partners

Clear communication with the family, shared goals in the J2Pro Circuit app, and guidance on the parents’ role before and after matches.

On the Tennis Europe tour

Titles are the players’ merit.

Four Tennis Europe titles as a coach (1 × Category 2 U12, 3 × Category 3 U14). The work behind them: the right calendar, the right level, and a coach on site every day of the week.
